Anthropic throttles Claude rate limits, devs call foul

Anthropor announced today that it will provide the limits of weekly rates for subscribers in Claude, claiming that some users were running Claude around the clock throughout the week, with the majority of use focus on the Claude Code product.

The total weekly limits will start on August 28 and will be in conjunction with the current border for 5 hours. Anthropor said that suffocation would only affect 5 % of its total users.
