Exclusive: Fox News Digital has recognized that legislators of the Internal Security Committee in the House of Representatives met with stakeholders and law enforcement to address the rise of anti -Semitic violence in the United States, at a round of closed congress on July 22.

The round table comes amid increasing concerns about anti -Semitic violence after months of recent attacks in Buldir, Colorado and Washington, as well as the increasing concerns surrounding the possible elections of Zahran Mamdani, who adopted the views of the fight against Israel, as president of New York City.

“Jewish societies throughout the country live in fear, and I am committed to standing with them. This round table comes in a critical moment: the far -left activist defended the phrase“ globalization ”, the head of the city’s security committee behaves, says, tells us, tells us, tells us, tells it, briefly, and hides,”. It was obtained by Fox News Digital.

“The anti -Semitic and anti -Israel speech has become dangerous.”

The round table focused on improving coordination between agencies, exchanging intelligence, training, and enforcement to prevent anti -Semitism and respond better.

In particular, the meeting dealt with ways to support communication between the Ministry of Internal Security and the Federal Investigation Office, as well as the application of local and local law, according to Michael Masters, CEO of Safe Community Network, a non -profit organization focuses on the safety of the Jewish community in North America.

This coordination between agencies is very important because the safe community network has placed a sign of 500 reliable threats to life this year – which all require immediate intervention of law enforcement, according to a master’s degree.

“The bad guys do not respect orders. Bad actors do not respect the judicial states, and this means that our intelligence cannot be given,” Master’s Master told Fox News Digital on Monday.

In addition, the discussion of the round table highlighted how the extremist speech could spread, especially on the campus and through social media. Since the outbreak of the Israel-Huslas war in October 2023, the students’ protests erupted on the campus of universities in the United States, including at the University of Colombia in New York.

Likewise, participants in the round table dealt with the spread of local and affected extremism, when one of the participants highlighted the cases in which anti -Israel terrorist organizations have published tool groups and talk points aimed at strengthening attacks in the United States.

The committee assistant said that the discussion is expected to teach the legislative priorities that focus on training employees, improving data collection, and ensuring a “strong prosecution” of anti -Semitic crimes.

He also led a hearing last month in the rise of anti -Semitic violence in the United States, after the shooting of May was killed by two Israeli embassy employees in Washington and a terrorist attack in Colorado targeting a base at the base level of al -Qaeda calling for the release of Israeli hostages.

Obsessive violence reached the highest new level in 2024, according to the Anti -Defamation Association.

The group recorded 9,354 anti -Semitic cases of harassment, assault and sabotage in the United States in 2024 – an increase of 5 % over 8,873 incidents recorded in 2023 and an increase of 344 % in the past five years. Likewise, the number of accidents is the highest recorded by the group since 1979, when the group started for the first time to track these cases.

In 2024, anti -Semitic violence incidents were higher in New York State, where Mamdani is currently a member of the State Council.

Mamdani attracted the audit, including from the Democrats, for initially failing to condemn the term “globalization of the uprising”, a phrase used to support the Palestinian resistance against Israel. However, he has since said that he will not use the term and will disinfect others from using it as well.

However, fears about what his potential leadership can mean as the pillar of the Jewish community in New York City. Nearly 1.4 million people in the Greater New York region, which was defined as Jewish in 2023, according to UJA-Fedration of New York.

“There is a lot of fear in the Jewish community if this man becomes a mayor,” Ena Venenikov, a member of the Republican Council in New York City, told Fox News Digital.

“This is a man who wants the globalization of the uprising,” said Fernikov. “We have not seen anything close to this in New York City. We have the largest number of Jewish population in America, and I will tell you that the Jews tell me that they will escape from New York City, and the Jews have contributed a lot in the city and to this country, and the idea that they are now afraid to live here – they are unacceptable and not due, this has never happened here.”
