AsiaPay to power payments for Tai Wo Management’s taxi booking platform

Hong Kong -based ASIPAY has a partnership with Tai Wo Management to implement an electronic payment system within the Joie taxi platform.
Joie is a Tai Wo Management tax fleet in Hong Kong.
The partnership will provide taxi drivers “accessible options” in addition to simplifying the borrowing and payment process for passengers.
The AsiaPay payment system, which is now merged in JOIE, supports various payment methods including credit cards, UnionPay, Alipayhk, WeChat Pay HK, and Apple Pay, with plans to expand available options.
Integration is said to support the processing of transactions “in actual time”.
Travelers are allowed to book and pay directly through the JOIE application.
