Azzurri Group gains rights to expand Dave’s Hot Chicken in Europe

Azzurri Group has obtained exclusive development rights to expand the hot restaurant chain in the fast restaurant chain throughout Europe.

The agreement shows plans for the Azzurri Group to develop 180 new hot chicken sites in Dave in nine European countries: the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain, and also in Türkiye.

The expansion strategy will be implemented through the Joint Project Partnership Model (JV), which will include cooperation with local operators in each targeted market.

This step follows the appearance of Dave’s Hot Chicken’s UK with its first restaurant in Shaftsbury Avenue in West End, London in late 2024.

“This agreement is a major milestone in our global development strategy,” Bill Phelps, CEO of Dave Hot, said.

“Azzurri has proven itself as a better operator in its class with a deep experience in building brands and implementing the market. Their commitment to work alongside local partners gives us the scale, grace and cultural insight needed to expand in new regions.”

After the launch of London, the series also opened restaurants in Birmingham and Manchester, which led to its presence in the United Kingdom.

The Azzurri collection, which runs a wallet including ZIZZI, Italian, Coco Di Mama and Boojum, will benefit its experience in running more than 225 restaurants and stores to develop the Dave’s Hot Chicken in Europe.

Hot Dave Chicken, known as Nashville hot chicken tenders, bites and blue with different spice levels, provides a set of sides such as Mac & Cheese, Kale Slaw and fried potatoes.

In June 2025, the brand was obtained by Roark Capital, a US -based private stock company, for one billion dollars.
