Below Deck Med’s Nathan Must Fire Someone After ‘Very Dangerous’ Incident
Below the surface of the Mediterranean Sea You will go through some changes – and bosun Nathan Gallagher He has to make a decision after a “very serious” incident with the guests.
During the Monday, October 20 episode of the hit Bravo series, Nathan struggled with his crew on deck: Max Salvador, Christian Tremino and Tessa Budd. He wondered how long they could deal with mistakes including Tessa forgetting to fill up her jet ski. The situation got worse when Nathan ordered Christian to watch the guests at night.
Christian was asked not to allow the group, which was clearly intoxicated, into the water without supervision. Finally, the guests asked Christian to dip their feet in the ocean, which resulted in one of them slipping into the water. By chance, Nathan caught the moment while he was near the monitor screen and rushed to turn it off.
Nathan told Christian that he had been warned that “guests cannot go into the water under any circumstances.” The boss indicated that it was “not safe,” while Christian said in his confession that he was listening to what he basically wanted, adding: “Nothing happened, so it was a successful night.”
The night ended with Nathan being certain they needed to make a change.
He pointed out that “things turned from incompetent people to very dangerous people.” “I have to raise my concerns to [Captain] Sandy [Yawn]”.
Sandy was less than happy when she learned what had happened.

“Allowing a drunk guest into the water with little supervision is a big no-no,” she told Nathan about the incident. “Safety is non-negotiable. I need to make a change and I need to do it fast.”
At the end of the episode, Sandy reunites with Nathan where they discuss how the deck team was a “circus on steroids.” Nathan went on to highlight how “lack of experience and motivation”.
Sandy noted that it was up to Nathan to figure out the next steps.
“I think we need to replace Christian or Tessa with someone with more experience,” she explained. “But I want you to know based on experience and leadership who you’re leaving. That’s your call.”
Season 10, which premiered in September, has been reunited Aisha Scott With Captain Sandy and now Bossun Nathan. In addition to the past Below deck Star deck Max, including the rest of the crew Chef Josh BinghamHe cooks Kizzy Kitchener and Victoria San Juan The deckhands Christian and Tessa.
“Consistency makes a better boat,” Sandy exclusively told Us Weekly about his hope of sticking with some of the same crew from season to season. “You don’t always train people and they don’t always find their feet. But to be honest, every boat we get every season is different. It’s rare that we get the same boat every season.”
Sandy explained that there are always hurdles: “Regardless of whether you come back or not, you still have to figure out the boat because it’s probably going to be different. Having consistency when we come back is great because for me the trust factor is there — or the monitoring factor to make sure I’m keeping an eye on them. Because sometimes they’re not good at certain things but they’re great at other things.”
She concluded: “Aisha is perfect. [With Nathan]I believe that unless you are pushed into something, you will never know if you are a good fit or not. I think pressure makes us better. I’m applying pressure and let’s see how well Nathan handles that pressure.
