Finally, a powerful $350 GPU

NVIDIA launches a completely new video card and follows AMD with a cheaper card. This was basically the GPU industry cycle over the past decade, as NVIDIA usually leads the package and rushes AMD to keep up with it. But with the presence of the last Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT, AMD finally found a profitable formula with graphics processing units that were cheaper than NVIDIA’s, and in many cases, more powerful. The new Radeon RX 9060 XT, which aims to take the RTX 5060 TI in NVIDIA at 1080 pixels and 1440 pixels, and repeat most of this formula. Starting 350 dollars with 16 GB RAM (and 300 dollars with trivial 8 GB), it is launched much less than $ 429 RTX 5060 TI with a similar level of performance.

Again, the AMD switch offers a much more random access memory than NVIDIA for much lower money. AMD definitely uses RAM GDDR6 slower with a 320 GB memory domain width, compared to 448 GB/s gddr7. But in practice, the presence of a greater memory gathering is actually more useful when it deals with the huge textures and 3D models in modern games. So, if you are looking for the best Buck games less than $ 400, Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is the winner.

Gigaby

Radeon RX 9060 XT provides a strong amount of 1080 pixels and 1440 pixels for only $ 350. It is not the fastest card around it, but it is a great choice for most people.

Positives

  • Excellent performance 1080 pixels and 1440 pixels
  • Retail price at reasonable prices
  • Hard cooling
  • FSR 4 and Frame Gen are great when available
cons

  • Limited support to upgrade FSR 4

$ 350 in AMD

The least powerful member of the Radeon RX 9000 AMD family (so far), the RX 9060 XT is basically the card you will get if you cannot spend more than $ 500 on the graphics processing unit. Just remember that video cards tend to jump in cost as soon as you actually strike stores, depending on the availability and retail dealers. RX 9060 XT SPORTS 32 RDNA 4 Account Units, 32 RT accelerators and 64 AI AILERATORS. It can reach up to 3.1 GHz at an hour of strengthening and consumes up to 180 watts of energy. In comparison, the MSRP RX 9070 with $ 549 has 56 account units, while $ 599 RX 9070 XT has eight others.

Amd photographed this graphics processing unit as an alternative to the RX 7600 XT, which was launched at $ 329 last year. This card also contains 16 GB of VRAM, but it had a slower 288 GB/s range. While 7600 XT was more focused on 1440 pixels games, devices in 9060 XT make them more capable. AMD claims that it is 46 percent faster than 7600 XT across more than 40 games, and in testing this number, this number is achieved.

For this review, I tested the Gigabyte’s RX 9060 XT GPU, which contains three cooling fans that referred to the model copper cooling room. There is no luxury steam cooling room or any exorbitant materials on the card, but in this price range I did not expect much.

Through games and standards, 9060 XT recorded where you expected: significantly slower than the RX 9070, or on the basis or slightly slower than NVIDIA RTX 5060 TI. In 3DMark standards, 9060 XT scored 200 points more than NVIDIA, it was also 90 points in TimePy Extreme. But NVIDIA achieved 1000 points in Speedway standards, and was more than 2000 points in the Luxmark HDR 4 test.

Despite these numbers, you still admire that 9060 XT can stay in the same league as the RTX 5060 TI from NVIDIA while cost a lot. The Ray trading performance from AMD also improved a little bit for previous generations, as 45 percent faster in the 3DMARK Port ROYAL index. NVIDIA still has the lead in ray tracking in games, especially with two DLSS 4 AI AIDSCALING and Multi-PRAME. NVIDIA RTX 5000-Series cards can produce up to three tires of each tire that has been original, while AMD is still stuck with one additional frame generation with FSR 3 and 4 FIDELITY Super Designation 4.

Radeon RX 9060 XT managed to run Cyberpunk 2077 In the “OverDrive” ray tracking mode in 80 respected seconds, while NVIDIA RTX 5060 TI is 136 frames per second thanks to multi -frame generation. However, there are a lot of climatic spaces to dismantle more tires: I received 1080 pixels I got 120 frames per second, and I saw 90 frames per second while using the pre -preparation of the less demanded radiation in 1440 pixels. In terms of raw performance, without any imagination of height, 9060 XT reached 114 frames per second in 1080 pixels and 90 frames per second in 1440 pixels.

Radeon RX 9060 XT has not been operated very hot during the test, but this is logical because it focuses purely on 1080 pixels and 1440 pixels, during the 3DMARK solid stress test, which repeats the standard 20 times respectively, the card was only at 54 ° C. I am used to seeing video cards up to 70 ° C under pregnancy, so 9060 XT was a nice surprise. During lethargy, sit at 42 ° C. This is higher than the cards that contain the cooling of the Vapor room, but it can cards in this price range. I haven’t heard any troublesome fan noise under pregnancy as well, because it barely broke the sweat.

There is not much to doubt with Radeon RX 9060 XT, as long as you do not expect a lot of $ 400 sub -graphics processing unit. However, it would be good to see support for the spread of the new FSR 4 AI from AMD. When the RX 9070 XT was launched, the feature was only available in a few games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, And now more than 60 games are supported. This is still nearly half of the games that DLSS 4 from NVIDIA (which includes more than 125 titles).

On the RX 9060 XT, the FSR 4 user experience is still simple as the DLSS activation on NVIDIA cards. I had to enable him manually in the AMD program from adrenaline, then turn it in Call of Duty: Warzone To activate it. On the bright side, I saw an average of 254 frames per second while playing a match in 1440 pixels with extremist graphics settings, FSR 4 and tire generation. With the empowerment of Gen Frame, but there is no FSR 4, the performance decreased to 174 frames per second. If each of these features is removed, it has decreased to 110 frames per second. It is clear that the FSR 4 and Frame Gen helps a little, I hope you are in more games.

Assuming that retailers do not go to excessive Radeon RX 9060 XT pricing, it is a strong option if you are looking for a graphics processing unit for everyone intended to play 1080 pixels and 1440 pixels. At $ 350, 9060 XT is less than the RTX 5060 TI retail price, and definitely cheaper is much cheaper than that sold at more than $ 500.

To reach a $ 300 price point, AMD also unveiled the RX 9060 TI with 8 GB RAM. Frankly, I recommend that you completely avoid this unless you are playing old games only in 1080 pixels. It is worth spending a little more so that you can play newer games with a lower headache, which is practically required if you want to play in 1440 pixels.

Radeon RX 9060 XT is a world reminder as we had to pay more than $ 400 to obtain a capable graphics processing unit. We already know more than 80 percent of computers players played by 1440 pixels or less accuracy, according to Steam data. So for the vast majority of players there – those who do not use screens with high crazy updates or 4K+ decisions – all this is the graphics processing unit you really need.
