Former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg is heading alongside the Democratic Democratic City mayor.
Bloomberg, billionaire entrepreneur and media group, who launched a short and unclean group of democratic presidential nomination for 2020, supported former state governor Andrew Como on Tuesday.
The move came two weeks before the preliminary elections on June 24 in the country’s most populated city and four days before the start of early voting on June 14.
Bloomberg said in a statement: “I am interested in the future of our city, and since he left his position, it was difficult to see his struggles, especially since the epidemic.

In his statement, Bloomberg acknowledged the previous political “differences” with Komo during its interference as the mayor of New York City and the ruler of New York State.
But he highlighted that “I also know his strengths as a leader and director. Among all the candidates, Andrew has the skills our city needs to lead us forward.”

Fox News confirmed that Cuomo and Bloomberg met Monday to discuss the municipal race after the former ruler stopped through Bloomberg Media offices in New York City to register a radio sector.
Komo called, in a statement, called a “prominent statesman” in Bloomberg, New York City, and highlighted that “after September 11, when New York City was in a crisis, its rupture and broke, under the leadership of Mike Bloomberg, our city – both our buildings and our spirit was rebuilt.”

The former triple -term ruler, who resigned from his position in 2021, is aimed at multiple scandals, to political salvation because he works to return the campaign.
Komo has spent the past four years fighting to clarify his name after 11 accusations of sexual harassment, which he repeatedly denied, forced his resignation. He was also under investigation at the time because of his dealings with the Covid-19 pandemic, amid allegations that his administration was greatly reduced by Covid’s deaths in government nursing homes.
Last month, the Ministry of Justice opened a criminal investigation in Komo after the Republicans accused him of lying to congress about the decisions he made as a ruler during the Koronaf virus.
But thanks to part of his close admission of his name among the New York residents, Komo was leading the mayor’s polls even before he announced his candidacy on March 1.
Bloomberg, a democratic life, nominated for the mayor in 2001 and his re -election in 2005 as a Republican. He became independent by the time he won his second re -election in 2009. Bloomberg later returned the voters to the Democratic Party.
As, Komo, Bloomberg does not like the left wing of the Democratic Party and is also a strong supporter of Israel. This may be a catalyst for Bloomberg’s support for Cuomo, which comes at a time when Zohran Mamdani rises in the latest public opinion polls in the town’s primary race, and is now a clear second for Cuomo.

Mamdani, a member of the 33 -year -old State Association from Queens, is a colored and democratic socialist who is originally from Uganda.

His primary offer was strengthened last week after obtaining support from MP Alexandria Okasio Cortez, the progressive champion and the most prominent leader of New York City on the left.
With many progressive candidates in the primary race, Mamdani was seen by OCASIO-Cortez as a step to unify broken progressive voters towards one candidate in an attempt to prevent the most moderate Komo from returning to power.
