Indonesia, other countries lining up at Trump tariff negotiating table

On Tuesday, Indonesia and other countries lined up on the negotiating table in the hope that it will deal with the Trump administration about the overwhelming mutual definitions that were announced against them last week.

The News Agency also reported that the Indian Foreign Minister spoke with Foreign Minister Marco Rubio late Monday in the hope of reaching an early result in talks on a bilateral trade deal and that the Japanese Prime Minister is considering traveling to Washington to hold direct talks with Trump on the tariff.

European Commission President von der Layen also said it had made a phone call with Chinese Prime Minister Lee Qiang “to discuss relations between the European Union China, as 2025 represents the fiftieth anniversary of diplomatic relations.”
