US leadership must be ‘unchallenged’

The White House has released the “Artificial Intelligence Action Plan”, which framing the next decade is a technological race that the United States cannot lose.

The action plan with the urgent speech of a new cold war argues that securing victory in artificial intelligence is no less than national necessity. Trump’s introduction determines the tone, called for “achieving and preserving unrestricted global technology dominance” as a basic principle of national security.

To get there, the administration conducts a triple boost: igniting a storm of local innovation, building a huge infrastructure to preserve it, and the participation of the American authority around the world to secure victory.

I: Action plan to support the private artificial intelligence sector

At its core, the strategy is to support the entire throat of the private sector. The first step is to transfer the duct to the organizational frameworks of the past, with the document being explicitly targeting the “hard” approach to the previous administration.

Philosophy is simple: stay away from the road and let the innovators innovate. According to US Vice President JD Vance, strangling technology with rules now will be “paralyzing one of the most promising techniques we have seen in generations.”

The plan uses the federal financing force as a stick, threatening to withhold money from the states that dare to enact the “exhausting artificial intelligence lists”.

He also takes confidence to the wars of culture, and insists that the artificial intelligence systems paid by the taxpayer must reflect “American values”. This means a preference for models that are “objective and free from ideological bias from top to bottom” and directing concepts such as wrong information, diversity, fairness, and integration of the official risks of the government.

II column: a foundation of concrete and symbol

The second column of the work plan relates to the raw material demands of the artificial intelligence revolution.

“Artificial intelligence is the first digital service in modern life that challenges America to build much greater energy than we have today,” says the plan frankly. Her answer is a national mobilization under the slogan “Build, Baby, Build!” – A wide task for establishing databases, bringing in a semiconductor manufacturing home, and building the energy network in the future.

This means fast -tracking environmental permits and repairing energy supplies in the country, mixing energy sources today with tomorrow’s bets on nuclear fusion. Re -making chips to American beaches is essential to this vision, with a promise to re -focus the chips program office on providing results without connecting ideological strings.

And behind all of this, a batch of training a new generation of technicians and engineers to build and maintain this new industrial spine.

III column: undisputed progress on the world stage

The final column revolves around the formation of the world in the form of America. The ambition is to make the entire American technology staple – from silicone to the program – undisputed “the golden standard for AI around the world”. This includes an aggressive export strategy to arm the allies with American technology, explicitly to face the emerging influence of China.

This new foreign policy will include pushing the Chinese influence in global forums such as the United Nations, which the administration believes is used to enhance the murder regulations for innovation. It also refers to a more honest approach to security, and requires more strict controls on advanced chips that feed the progress of artificial intelligence.

The plan faces the dark side of artificial intelligence face to face, admitting that it can be misused in everything from Internet crimes to biological weapons, and calls for a national effort to move forward with threat.

Artificial Intelligence Action plan falls in a divided industry

Autrical management plan for future lands in an industry that deeply contradicts its establishment. Only this week, Sam Altman, CEO of Openai, warned of the sabotage of technology.

Altman warns that artificial intelligence will not only remove jobs, but also poses national security threats. He talked about a “fraud crisis” looming on the horizon, supported by the ability of artificial intelligence to deceive security systems, and went to the point of participating in signing a speech stating that “reducing the risk of extinction from artificial intelligence should be a global priority.”

His comment is a blatant reminder that the race for the dominance of artificial intelligence is also a race to control technology with global changing capabilities. While Washington focuses on winning, artificial intelligence engineers are quietly struggling with what victory may already mean.

However, the plan received a cautious welcome from non -profit Americans for responsible innovation (ARI). The group saw its own fingerprints on several proposals, from stronger export control items to more research in the integrity of artificial intelligence.

However, Ari is deeply disturbed by the transfer of the administration to punish the countries that follow the rules of its artificial intelligence. This position also appears to be at odds with the views of industry leaders such as Altman, who warned himself of the chaos of 50 different states at the state level.

“Ultimately, this action plan revolves around increasing supervision of artificial intelligence systems while maintaining the approach to getting rid of difficult and fast regulations,” said Arya, Brad Carson,. He sees an opportunity to understand the “big border models created for the public” for great dangers, but they worry about management tactics.

“Targeting the plan for the advanced artificial intelligence guarantees is a cause of concern. For America to lead artificial intelligence, we have to build general confidence in these systems, and guarantees are necessary for that beauty.”
