China is hiking tariffs on US imports from 34% to 84%

Treasury Secretary Scott Payette responds to China, which imposes a 84 % tariff on American goods, the state of the Chinese economy and a potential backering companies apparently “closed” in light of the definitions.
China will now raise the definitions of US imports from 34 % to 84 % in response to the mutual tariff for president Donald Trump.
This step is expected to enter into force tomorrow, according to the Chinese government media, and the Chinese officials pledged to fight “to the end” amid a trade war with the United States
“If the United States insists on increasing the escalation of economic and commercial restrictions, China has the will of the company and the abundant means to take the necessary counter measures and fight to the end.”
The escalation started last week when Trump announced for the first time a 34 % mutual tariff against China, which in response to a tariff of the same amount on America.
Trump’s mutual tariff, additional Chinese drawings apply

Then, the White House press secretary Caroline Levitte said on Tuesday that, as China refused to raise a tariff, Trump imposed an additional 50 % tariff on Beijing.
This tariff, which entered into force this morning, in addition to the formerly imposed tariffs by 20 % and 34 % against China, the total tariff on Chinese goods reaches 104 %.

Levitt insisted on Tuesday that “all options are on the table for each country” when it comes to concluding deals on the latest American tariff, but he warned those who enjoy that Trump “has a steel column and will not be broken.”
Levitte said since the “Tahrir Day” ads, Trump, has already reached 70 countries to the president to start negotiations.
