Another Google app is to have a Gemini treatment.

Google Today has introduced a new Side Gemini calendar panel, a feature that allows you to check your schedule, create an event, or search for the event details with the help of AI.

Google has offered examples how to do every matter. The general idea is that instead of manually searching for a specific event or adding something to your hand calendar, you can allow Gemini to deal with the task on your behalf.

For your next table, Google says, you may ask things like, “When will my next meeting with Chris?” Or “How many meetings I suffer next week?”

To create an event, you can give Gemini orders like, “add lunch with my father to my work schedule at 11 am” on Tuesday “or” add an exercise to my calendar every day of the week at 6 am “(you will still need to invite others manually to any event you create.)

For the event details, you can ask questions like, “When is my lunch with my father?” Or “What is the duration of my meeting next Friday?”

When I tried it myself, I managed to push Gemini a little more by asking her, “What offers in my calendar?” Gemini found some of the events in my calendar later in the year, which none of which actually participated in the word “show”. I asked for this to show me the next doctor’s dates, and I did it – even one was just the word “orto”.

Currently, Gemini is available in the calendar as part of the Google Early Access Test, Google Workspace Labs. You will first need to register for Google Workspace Labs to test the feature. Once you enter, go to the Google Calendar and find the icon “Ask Gemini” in the upper right corner. Click this code to see a list of proposed demands and space to enter your router.

The feature does not seem available to the Mobile Calendar app yet.

If you want to turn off Gemini to get the calendar, Google says you should leave Google Labs completely. Once this decision is made, you will not be able to join.
