Bryson DeChambeau adds another tool to his golf routine

Bryson DeChambeau admits he’s a perfectionist, and nothing he does is by accident.

From his golf swing that he practices over and over again to his acting skills in “Happy Gilmore 2,” the two-time US Open champion won’t stop until everything is right.

Even in a recent interview with FOX Business, DeChambeau said he doesn’t feel like he overtrains and is always afraid of not being prepared, hence the hours of driving on the driving range even after 18 holes.

But the golf world has added something else to its already extensive arsenal.

Originally starting out as a pre-workout brand, BuckedUp has since expanded into other avenues like 16-ounce energy drinks and hydration packs that DeChambeau, who became an ambassador in April, couldn’t help but get behind.

“There’s a bunch of hydration drinks out there, but there’s really none that take care of the body the way they should,” DeChambeau told FOX Business. “A bunch of them are sugary, another bunch are fake and so on. And so we came up with the idea that we need a drink on the golf course that can hydrate the body.” “Everyone drinks different things on the golf course, but what about a drink that makes you feel good during a hot summer day, you know, or something that makes you feel like having a nice drink.

“And that was kind of the beginning of dry hydration and what we’re doing here, is giving athletes and golfers in particular the ability to have a hydration drink ready to go on the golf course. After nine holes, after a course to be able to get going again. So that’s really what the beginning was. We wanted to create something special with the BuckedUp team, and we did that. We certainly did that.”

All BuckedUp products will again be 50% off from Black Friday through Cyber Monday, an annual sale that dates back years. Pre-workouts can contain more than 300 milligrams of caffeine, as do energy drinks, but for those who are sensitive to stimulants, hydration packs contain none. Instead, it’s packed with Himalayan rock salt, coconut water powder, and vitamins B6 and B12.

“It’s a great deal. That’s the cool part. They love showcasing their product and giving away their product, because the product speaks for itself. It’s like this drink, it tastes great. It tastes really good and doesn’t give you crazy anxiety after stress and all that, and you feel really good from it,” DeChambeau said. “Everyone has their own experience, but most of the time, it’s really impressive what people say about their drink, their energy drink, and then now what they’ll say about this dry hydration. It’s pretty impressive. I had more of it last night, and I’m like, ‘Man, this is an easy drink to drink.’ I can tell you that.”
