CA GOP: Democrats could have prevented Los Angeles immigration riots

The leaders of the Republican Party said that the continuous riots in Los Angeles could have been stopped in Sacramento and did not reach the federal intervention point if Democrats had made a Republican effort to improve coordination between local and federal law enforcement in terms of immigration.
“The federal authorities who are doing the vital work to enforce immigration were met with obstruction and violence in the streets in Los Angeles,” James Gallagher, the leader of the Q-Yuba City.
“Do not make mistakes: these instigators and failed California policies caused this chaos. It will not be tolerated and many of them have already discovered,” Gallaghar said.
In this regard, the Senate minority leader Brian Jones, RR Diego, said that his gathering had a solution to the problems that led to the immigration raids that sparked riots.

SB 554 would have amended the current California law under the California Ethics Act, which generally prohibits the implementation of the state law from investigation, detention or interrogation of suspects for immigration purposes.
