California Democrat pushes bill to let homeless college kids live in their vehicles

A new draft law in Golden State would allow the homeless community and students of the State University to sleep in their cars during the housing crisis in the blue state.

The California Public Policy Institute report found that California has among the lowest domestic ownership rates and the most expensive housing in the United States, with a 50 % higher rent than the national broker.

The California bill seeks to provide a short -term solution to the housing conflict that has lasted for decades from the state.

Parliament member Corrie Jackson, a progressive democracy in California who receives a doctorate in social work, has suggested a draft law in March that requires advisers in the universities of California and the Board of Directors in each region of a community college to develop a car parking program overnight with the “basic needs and campus security coordinators” by late 2026.
