These 3 free web apps helped me stop procrastinating

I don’t know if I would call myself a great procrastination, but I am not immune to that – no one of us really. In those days when you do not feel a desire to do almost anything inevitable, but unfortunately, the crowded world in which we live and does not represent our quick work schedules like these days. Whether you feel it or not, the work still should be done, in one way or another.

Sometimes, when my timeline expresses me and I am exhausted, I find myself as an ongoing instead of completing the work. Instead of getting angry with myself, I found three Web applications that helped me get more productive when I needed it.

Tadist

Todoist is a very simple web application, if you’re going to be spent, no one really really Needs. Its basic function can be replaced with a piece of paper or things like a Google calendar. After all, this is exactly what it seems-the task list.

Although I said that no one Needs Todoist, this does not mean that its use did not completely transform my work procedures. These days, I did not go to one working day without Todoist, and I did not pay one film for that. (Putting it in this way makes me feel a little guilt. I have tried the paid version – the free app was not great.)

Todoist allows you to plan for your day and week. You can set small tasks for yourself, transfer them from day to day, and set different priority levels. You can also prepare it to be worth only at a certain time of the day.

You can choose to either focus on one day at one time or take a look at your upcoming tasks, and browse within one week at a time. Each task can receive a naming or candidate, facilitating finding certain types. You can repeat the tasks, although I find this only strain -like part of using the application; It takes some time and not very intuitive.

Todoist also provides integration with different extensions, such as Google Calendar, which makes a smoother experience. There is even AI (of course) I didn’t really need it. I love the naked side of Todoist, and the simplicity it provides.

Todoist keeps me responsible. If you finish today with a mission (or five) staring at me on my face, you can bet on feeling a little more to end it as soon as possible. The application can also send you email reminders, which, again, add to the entire accountability.

Can I replace Todoist reasonably with a scheme and pen? Yes. Do I want that? impossible. I love Todoist, and I will continue to recommend it to anyone who is interested in listening.

Pomovox

Those who have ever struggled with survival producers may know Pomodoro’s method. It is a time management technique that helps you divide your business into smaller periods that focus on excessive. Between each time separator, you get a short break, and at this point you can indulge freely in all scroll/chat/reckless view/watch YouTube that you may want to indulge abroad from your break. The usual time breaks are 25 minutes of work and five minutes of relaxation.

Again, the Pomodoro method is not new, but Pomofocus makes it simple and easy to follow (or customize). You can start the temporary without any disturbing recording process; Just click start and start your work.

Pomofocus allows you to choose between short and long rest periods (which I find useful if you need more than five minutes a little, but it is very easy to lose focus if your period continues for a long time during these time breaks, at least for me). I like that you can assign yourself a grade of “pomodoros” that each of them will take, then work through it in the application.

Pomofocus does not force you to do anything. Your Pomodoro temporarily can be turned off or skipped at any specific time, so it often descends into self -discipline. I enjoy it for similar reasons as Todoist: simplicity and ease of access. You will not force you to complete your work. Pomovox has recommended many friends, and many of them only end in procrastination through the Pomodoro temporary.

I miss a café

If you have brought the laptop to a café for the purpose of only work, you may know what it can do for your productivity.

There is something comfortable about the ongoing tanner of the cafe. Paristas, customers, machines that raise lattes and a faded operating menu you can barely hear about the sound of the place. It is also much more difficult (at least for me) for the material when I am surrounded by people. This part cannot be achieved by app (well, not directly, although there are things like Focusmate), but you can always re -create your favorite parts of working in a cafe by using my Cafe Cafe.

I miss my cafe is a Web app connected to Spotify to allow you to create the perfect background noise mixture of work. There are thousands of “rainy day” mixing on YouTube, but it cannot be customized. Here, you can control the sound level and the type of atmosphere that plays on the playlist. I like it allows you to choose between something more loud and a quieter thing; It is very easy to make it suit your current needs.

These three web applications helped me fight stalling. However, the only thing I learned through all my attempts is that if you are successful, there is likely to be a reason for it. If I am comfortable and I am not very tense, I am doing my work in one way or another-but in the days when I am not, it helps to rely on these three applications with a healthy drift of self-discipline.
