‘Can navigate not just tech…’: Anand Mahindra on Shailesh Jejurikar’s appointment as P&G CEO

The head of the Mahindra Shailesh Jejurikar Group, who was appointed as the Officer of the Procter & Gamble Company. Mahandra said that Giguricar has special relationships with the group. He said that the appointment of Jiguricar is a testimony that Indian Americans do not only make good technology leaders.

Jejurikar John Muller will succeed on January 1, 2026, and will also be nominated to the company’s board of directors at the next shareholders meeting in October.

Who is Shalish Jiguricar

The current CEO of Operations at P&G will take his role as president and executive director of P&G on January 1, 2026.

As COO, Jejurikar is responsible for profit/loss for institutions markets in P&G (Latin America, India, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe) and the leadership of information technology, global business services, sales, market operations, purchase, manufacturing, distribution and new business of the company.

Jejurikar, who joined the company as an assistant brand, personal health care in India in 1989, served in many companies in the company, including health care, beauty, home care, fabric care and P&G Professional) in both advanced areas and development.

He has also held the position of CEO of the largest business sector in the PROCTER & Gamble, Fabric & Home Care, which includes trademarks such as Tide, Ariel, Download, Gain, Febze and Swifer.

Jejurikar is a graduate of the University of Mumbai, where he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (1987) as well as the Indian Institute of Management Locoo in terms of completing the Master of Business Administration in 1989. He was born in Mumbai.
