Spotify is finally launching support for lossless music streaming
Spotify finally launches high -quality support without losing music for excellent account holders after years of waiting.
The company first talked about the Hi-Fi layer in 2021-which would provide a high-quality sound-but the plan faced multiple delays, partly due to licensing problems. Last year, CEO Daniel Eck said that the company was in the “first days” to launch the missing broadcasting.
Over the past few years, reports and programming instructions in the application indicated that the company has been planning to provide a more expensive class for music that is not lost either.
Now the company will finally make support to up to 24 bits/44.1 kHz FLAC quality flow-a format that maintains the original sound quality without pressure-for paid users. The company said that the missing broadcast will be offered to users in more than 50 countries until October. He added that the participants in Australia, Austria, Czechs, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, the United States and the United Kingdom can actually reach.
Users will get a notification in their application when they get access to broadcast without loss. You can enable the feature of settings and privacy > Media quality and choosing “loss” quality to broadcast on Wi-Fi network, cellular data and downloads.
The company said that the feature is available across the devices, but you should manually enable it to each device. This means that the setting does not apply to all the devices you use with your Spotify account automatically.
Since files that contain a flow without a greater loss, you will be able to track the amount of data you used to broadcast. Although you can flow quality paths without loss through Wi-Fi, this is not possible for the devices connected to Bluetooth due to the restrictions of the domain. You can use Spotify Connect to connect to devices from companies such as Bose, Yamaha and Bluesound for music flow via Wi-Fi. It is worth noting that Apple has previously complained about the Bluetooth domain width restrictions for high -quality music flow.

Spotify is late to provide her promises to make music without a loss available to users. Competitors such as Apple Music rid it in 2021, and made Amazon Music to flow without a loss after the launch of a paid -paid -paid layer in 2019. Spotify said this launch covers “almost every path” in its 100 million library, so there may be some tracks without support.
