Trump calls Charlie Kirk ‘martyr for American freedom’ at memorial

President Donald Trump praised the founder of Turning Point Usa Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Sunday, describing him as a “martyr of American freedom.”
“I know that I am talking about everyone here today when I say that no one of us will not forget Charlie Kerk, and history will not forget,” Trump told tens of thousands of supporters to celebrate the life of Charlie Kirk at the State of Sett Farm in Glenndall.

Trump talked about Kirk’s passion for mobilizing young conservatives, his steadfast dedication to the country, and the movement he leaves. President Kirk described as a “noble spirit,” saying that the 31 -year -old conservative activist played a decisive role in helping him win the 2024 elections.

“It was not worth this and our country did not deserve this,” Trump said, adding that the assassination of Kirk was an attack on American democracy.
Trump has survived two assassination attempts.
The President also said that he will honor Kerk at the White House by presenting his family with the presidential medal for freedom, which is the highest civil honor in the country.

Trump’s speech, who also highlighted his administration, followed the Kirk widow, Erika, and many high -ranking members in his management.

At the end of his speech, Trump shared the theater with Erika Kirk and embraced her as “God bless America” played on the field, representing the conclusion of the memorial service.
