Chamber of Commerce finds support for OBBBA’s pro-business tax policies

New data from the American Chamber of Commerce found that American voters prefer tax provisions supporting growth that affects companies in the law of one beautiful law (OBBA) signed by President Donald Trump.

In its survey, the Chamber found that more than two thirds of the respondents, or 67 %, preferred to restore business discounts for research and development.

It also made OBBA permanent expenses for capital investments for companies, such as machines, equipment and technology, which 62 % of the respondents said they prefer.

Another judgment is permanently extended to the commercial interest deduction supported by 64 % of the voters.

Bradley said: “For the reason that some of the provisions of this pro -growth tax are difficult to talk about and explain, I have been pleased that they are still getting great support.”

The Chamber’s note noted that its surveys found that nearly two -thirds of the voters, or 65 %, were supporting the expansion of the 2017 tax cuts that were appointed at the end of this year permanently, and would have led to the largest automatic tax lift in the history of the United States.

“It was possible that huge negative reactions would have ended if all these tax provisions were allowed to end,” Bradley said, adding that the poll showed that the voters “wanted a permanent solution here.”

The Chamber’s memo also indicated that its poll found that 71 % of the respondents said they would be more likely to support congress candidates who voted to make the tax law for the year 2017 permanent.

Bradley said: “The thing that did not surprise me in the survey is strong support between voters for elected officials who voted to make tax cuts permanent because in the town hosted by the United States Chamber all over the country – and we are on our way to doing 100 of these this year – this is exactly what we hear.”
