Charles Watts on Myles Lewis-Skelly’s best position

Charles WhatsApp, Arsenal FC’s journalist, discussed the possibility that the exciting left back Louis Louis-Skili will move to the midfield.
The 18 -year -old was great for Gunners this season, as it became an increasingly important part of Michael Arta’s first team.
This also led to Louis-Skili’s first phone call in England, where Watts said that the “exceptional” young man was clearly worth it.
There is no doubt that Arsenal fans will be fascinated by knowing how Lewis-Skili continues with the three lions, but there was also some discussion about his best position in the long run.
“This is Arsenal for you!” What does his old club think suffer from one major problem?
Discuss this with Catchoffside As part of the latest exclusive column of The Daily Liques, Watts said he was not sure that Lewis-Skili will end up forward to the midfield because it is perfectly suitable for the inverted role he plays during the Michel Arta era at the present time.
Arsenal expert discusses the best position for Myles Lewis-Sikelly
Watts said: “It is a wonderful thing to see the Miles Lewis-Skili called for the duty of England.
“Ideally, I think Thomas Tuchel was preferred to be allowed to conduct at least one camp with Under-21S first, but with other left-back options not available, he had to really include it now.
As I said, it is a deserved summons. Luis-Skili has been exceptional since his arrival in the first team in Arsenal this season.
“Nothing spoils it and I am sure that this will not do it either, even with the additional scrutiny that comes with England.
“The way he took up to top football this season, was in the Premier League and in the Champions League very impressive, especially when he treated that he is playing in a relatively new site.
“It was not long ago, he was known as the Central midfielder, a box for the box operator who could float on important moments on both sides of the stadium.
So the fact that he made himself one of the best left back in the country in a short period of time only at the age of 18 shows the intelligence of a footballer.
“There is a point of view that at some point it will move to the top of the stadium and return to the role of the midfield, but I do not really see that this happens, and not in the short term anyway.
“I think it fits the role of the left back inverted well and allows him to work in the central areas often anyway. So I don’t really see the goal of returning to the midfield now.”
