Verizon ends DEI programs, diversity goals

Verizon Communications said on Friday that it ends its diversity programs, property and integration rights (Dei) amid an investigation by the Trump administration in those practices, as the communications giant seeks to obtain federal approval of the acquisition.

The head of the Federal Communications Committee (FCC) criticized Brendan Car Verizon in February for his promotion of Dei programs, saying it could lead to a review of the Permanent Planned Communications Square in Fortier for $ 20 billion, including debt.

“Verizon realizes that some DEI policies and practices can be linked to discrimination,” Vandalkatish, Vehndon Verson, said, adding that the changes will be valid immediately.
