“On the middle was still a little difficult but much better than yesterday, then it was a much difficult frame than everyone expected, or certainly than we expected.
“To go to the end to the end was a surprise, but it is a happy surprise.”
Lando Norris, McLaren – 2: “A few fun moments. The beginning, I was hoping exactly that, so Turn 1 went to plan. Then George stopped them on the hole. I was a little tense but our pace was much better in the second period.
So a difficult race only with management. I don’t think many people expect one stop today, so it was good and Oscar traveled well, it was quickly in the entire race.
“Try to get close to, but in the end he couldn’t.
George Russell, Mercedes – Third: “Really happy with P3. We knew that McLaren was Smidge faster than us, a few crucial points, but well in these two.
“I felt it since there was one stop and it turned out that it was a little easier than we all expected.
However, however, the car was great this week and perhaps one of the best weekends in Formula 1 in terms of performance, is really happy to do so. “
