CIA director says China is biggest challenge from adversary in US history

The Director of the CIA, John Ratcliffe, announced in an internal note that China is the maximum priority for its agency, warning that “the absence of a discount in the history of our nation has provided a more challenge or a more capable strategic competitor than the Chinese Communist Party.”
The CIA’s internal note directed to the agency’s rank and its file was presented to Fox News by a senior CIA official on Thursday.
“In order for the CIA to continue to defend our nation successfully, we will build on our strong basis and follow -up with a laser -like focus on the near -term of the CIA that our president and our country demand. China is at the top of that list.”
He continued, “No deduction in the history of our nation has made a more enormous challenge or a more capable strategic competitor than the Chinese Communist Party.” “He intends to control the world economically, militarily and technologically, and he strongly tries to compete for America in every corner of the world.”
