Claims intel officials using Signal to send classified info ‘false,’ Trump admin says

The White House is escalating against media reports that claim that intelligence officials use the signal of the encrypted to the party to one party to send secret information, describing allegations as “wrong” in a statement to Fox News Digital.
The National Security Council spokesman (NSC) comes after Politico published a report indicating that Trump’s National Security Adviser and his team used the application frequently to discuss sensitive communications about a variety of different issues.
“This is a clear attempt by some in the media and Democrats to hide the simple truth: the president and the national security team provide him with the nation by confronting our opponents and standing with our allies to bring peace through power,” Hughes said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
The press secretary says the White House is looking at the “closed” chat leakage.
Hughes added that the reference is the application of a “accredited” correspondence, especially with regard to the non -classified information, “and any claim that NSC officials send classified information through these wrong channels.”

Questions have been circulated about the Trump administration’s use of reference since the Atlantic Jeffrey Goldberg issued his exhibition on the pretext that he was accidentally invited by Waltz to a sensitive collection on the encrypted messaging application. Trump administration critics said the messages included “war plans” to attack the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
There were also discussions on whether the information discussed in the chat that Goldberg discovered was classified or “war plans”.
Media reports from the Wall Street Journal, Politico and Washington Post, claimed that Valz and his team often used the reference and other public correspondence platforms to discuss sensitive issues and official government works.

Hughes said: “Using a signal to send unlikely classified information, and these same facts have been reported several times in the past few days,” noting that there are federal agencies “automatically install” a sign on government agencies.
“Some are in NSC, such as those in the media and many regions throughout the federal government, they use the signal application,” Hughes added. “All contacts are a reflection of a deliberate dialogue for those who are committed to the effective implementation of the president’s business schedule.”

However, the Trump administration critics are calling for answers. On Tuesday, the Democrats of the House of Representatives Control Committee sent messages to “the initiative agency officials” who were part of the original sign chat that included Goldberg by mistake.
The messages invite individuals who say the Democrats may have “direct knowledge Regarding the discussion of sensitive national security information and/or classified from the reference, “to appear in front of the congress for the written interviews.
