Clergy blockade ICE facility in Newark

Dozens of members of the clerics outside the ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey, protested on Monday, saying that they would continue to prevent the gates that reach the facility until they are arrested.
The group consists of about 50 clerics from faith in New Jersey and faith in work. They tied the weapons outside the main gate of the Delaney Hall detention center, where they chanted and sang the songs.
Many speakers also said the prayers of the prisoners inside the facility and condemned their detention.
The clergy members say they “volunteered” to be arrested and that they will try to enter the ice facility.
