In a speech on Thursday in the state of North Carolina to the soldiers of the 82nd air division, Defense Minister Beit Higseth pledged to restore what he called “the ethics of the warrior” of the American army and announced an increase in wages for paratroopers.

Speaking during the American week in Fort Prague, Higseth put President Donald Trump’s vision of combat standards, merit and investment in the American war fighter.

“We will return it to the basics.” “We will restore the spirit of the warrior … and we are through our formations, a standard that is appointed here every day.”

According to the Ministry of Defense, Higseth used this occasion to announce an increase in the salaries of dangerous incentives, known as jumping wage. It will rise from $ 150 to $ 200 per month for paratroopers, and for the first time, JumpMasters will receive an additional $ 150 at the top of their current salaries.

“For the first time in 25 years … we are more jumping salaries,” said Higseth. “We will not only increase jumping salaries, but … you will get an additional $ 150 a month.”

He added: “Here to our paratroopers, our jumping tools, who do difficult things in difficult places that most Americans cannot imagine.”

Higseth told the crowd that the forces remain the focus of every main Pentagon decision.

“Within the Pentagon corridors, you are in our minds, with the decisions we make in the budgets, in planning, in publishing operations, on orders, in reorganization. We and your family take you into consideration.”

In his remarks, Higseth participated in a basic defensive strategy promoted by Trump: giving priority to preparing, rejecting identity policy, and reaffirming American deterrence.

“We will focus on preparing, on training, on wrestling war, on accountability, on standards. Black, white, male, female, does not matter. We will be a war -based war, as is the case in the eighty -eight.”

This return to the basics, Higseth has argued that it is necessary to rebuild power and deter the growing global threats.

“President Trump is committed to historical investments within our formations. We promised you that when 82 portable air is published … it will be better equipped than any other combat power in the world.”

In contradiction with previous administrations, Higseth pointed to global instability, including the war in Ukraine, the terrorist attack on October 7, and the American withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“Unfortunately, for several years, he watched the world and asked where the American leadership and the American power were,” he said. “By placing America first, we will re -establish peace through strength.”

Higseth was closed by honoring the legacy and future of 82.

“Like those who came in front of you, you continue to show the world with the things you make. Because we know that you are ready for the important work that awaits us.”

The Army Public Affairs Office immediately did not return the Fox News Digital request for comment.
