Meghan Markle‘s Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” is finally going to air on Tuesday, March 4, after its release date was postponed in January due to the L.A. fires.
As the Duchess of Sussex prepares for her show’s debut, experts believe that her career path in Hollywood depends on the success of the series.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would definitely be hoping to see some upward turn as their multi-million-dollar Netflix deal is said to be up for revision.

Meghan is on the cusp of a defining moment in her Hollywood career as her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” hits the streaming platform on Tuesday.
Industry experts say that the success of the eight-episode show will be a major defining factor for the royal as it determines if she still has the “Markle sparkle” needed to be a powerful influencer.
“You’re only cold until you’re hot again, and Hollywood is a town based on temperature, not talent,” Doug Eldridge, a branding expert and the founder of Achilles PR, told Fox News. “If the show is a success, this could be the moment of truth.”
“If the show is a modest success, Meghan will return to relevancy in Tinseltown and the influencer opportunities will multiply,” he explained.

The Duchess Needs To Put Her ‘Personal Style And Stamp’ On The Show
expert further highlighted the difficulty of Meghan’s new venture and the best way for the duchess to maintain relevancy.
Eldridge noted, “The problem with the influencer or reality television category is that it’s often more fashion than style. Fashion changes with the season or trend. Style is enduring, personal, and doesn’t fall victim to seasonal whims.”
“Hopefully, Meghan can put her personal style and stamp on this and, in doing so, create some foundational scaffolding to rebuild her life and career,” the expert said, adding, “And to her credit, Meghan has never given up. Loss after loss, she’s stayed in the fight.”

Royal Author Reveals Meghan Markle’s Inspiration
Meghan’s show will focus on how the Duchess of Sussex, alongside her guests, maneuver their way around the kitchen and in the garden.
It has not been easy for the mother of two, though, as she’s been accused of ripping off Pamela Anderson’s cooking show, “Pamela’s Cooking with Love,” and coming under fire for doing a “reality show.”
Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” told Fox News that Meghan aims to be more like Martha Stewart, less Kim Kardashian.
“Meghan is coming under a lot of criticism from the British press for doing a ‘reality show’ when the Sussexes adamantly said they wouldn’t,” he explained.

Andersen continued, “But that really is unfair. What they meant was they weren’t going to do anything like a ‘Housewives of Montecito.’ Her new Netflix series is… all about cooking, gardening, and home decorating with a little celebrity stardust sprinkled on top when her famous neighbors drop it.”
“No whining, no crusading – just lifestyle advice delivered against a gorgeous backdrop,” he shared. “If she’s smart, Meghan will borrow a page from Julia Child and add a dash of humor and humility. Nothing is more disarming than a little self-deprecation.”

The Duchess’s Critics Could Help Blow Up Her Series
Since leaving the royal family in 2020 and relocating abroad, the former “Suits” actress has been in the news for one controversy or another and was recently embroiled in a trademark scuffle involving her lifestyle brand.
Critics have often bashed her online, even as her fans do all they can to defend her. However, Eldridge said that one thing that could help bring success to her Netflix series is the fact that whether viewers love her or not, they’ll be streaming anyway.
“To be candid, many pundits and critics are expecting and perhaps even rooting for [the series] to be a failure,” he explained, per Fox News.
Eldridge added, “Objectively speaking, the show’s substance and content will probably rule the day, not Meghan’s likability… [And] each episode sounds like a 33-minute Pinterest board… Even if it proves to be light on substance, if the style and texture are on-point, it might resonate with certain key demos.”

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Netflix Deal To Be ‘Reduced’
Harry and Meghan would hope to get high viewership for the new show if they want an improved Netflix deal.
However, royal experts think they’ll likely be offered a slightly different deal from the $100 million contract they signed with the streaming giant five years ago.
According to GB News, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams believes that although a new offer will be put on the table, it’ll most likely be “reduced” as interest in the Sussexes’ drop.
“It almost certainly will not be on the terms that were originally agreed,” he explained. Fitzwilliams added that Netflix will be “hoping there will be a positive response” to the show.
“We have simultaneously got the launch as As Ever and some of the products Meghan sells will be stocked by Netflix in their new shopping malls. Netflix has an interest in As Ever and the eight-part series will cause interest. All the indications are that a deal of some sort will be renewed when the contract expires,” he explained.
