David Pastrnak makes his feelings known about Zdeno Chara’s new role with Bruins

David Pasterak striker Boston Bouenes has participated in the return of Zdeno Chara to the organization in a new role.

On Thursday, Bruins announced that Shara will join the team as a consultant and teacher of hockey operations. After his retirement in 2022, CHARA will now act as a bridge between players and coaches to work closely with defenders for their development outside the ice and to provide guidance throughout the season.

Chara spent 14 years in Boston before moving to play in a season with both capitals and bells. Pasterak said that the players could not be happier with the new role of Shar:

“It is very simple with Zdeno. He has a lot to advance, it is clear that he personally and with all the experience he enjoys as a player … I think every young player in the treasury room should know the type of person we have in this room and use it.” (For all nhl.com)

Last season, Shara spent an unofficial time with the team, attending meetings, listening to them, and advising. This new role gives its existence and influence.

Chara himself said that he is honorable and enthusiastic to return to a position where he can contribute and continue to learn.

“This is all related to communication, openness with each other and get transparency with players and coaches, and we are all working for the same goal, only to improve and get the most capabilities and performance from our team, from Hockey Club,” explained.

From 2006 to 2020, Zdeno Chara scored 481 points (148 goals, 333 decisive passes) in 1023 games, ranked third in the history of concession among defenders across the three categories.

Boston Bruins, HC Marco Storm, on the presence of Zdeno Chara on the team

Boston HC Marco Sturm played alongside Zdeno Chara for four seasons in Boston from 2006 to 2010. While there was a room for pleasure, when it was time to work, Shara has been sure that everyone remained centers and weapons.

“He was a great leader in this regard,” Storm explained, ” [Patrice] Bergeron’s and Sturm’s, called it whatever you want, all of these men, we have followed it largely. “

Now, Studeno Chara can present the same message to today’s heart, including Charlie Mcavoy and David Pastrnak.

“Sometimes they get sick with me and are tired of, but I think it will be just another voice I think in our room may push these men forward.” He added.

Bruins will start their normal season on October 8 against Washington Capital.
