“Our crew immediately started a search and rescue, but unfortunately the crew member died,” said Royal Caribian.
“We expand our condolences to the family of crew and loved ones. To respect their privacy, we have no additional details to participate.”

The accident comes after a male passenger went outside on the same ship in May 2024. The man was returned on the plane alive, but his death was later announced by the medical staff on board.
Last month, a dramatic scene on a Disney tourist was revealed when a child went out and her father jumped to the water to save her. Both were captured by the rescue team in the crew and survived.

The icon of the seas entered service for the first time in January 2024.
It includes 20 floor, 18 of which are open to 7600 guests that can be hosted simultaneously, according to the fact newspaper. It can carry a crew of up to 2,350.
The ship was built with more than 2800 guest cabinets that span 28 formats.
The ship contains 40 places for dining and entertainment along with eight distinct “neighborhoods”, a huge water park, multiple sports baths and innovative entertainment spaces.
