Demis Hassabis & John Jumper awarded Nobel Prize in Chemistry

This morning, the co -founder and CEO of Google DeepMind and ISOMORPHIC SAIR Demis Hassabis, and Director of Google DeepMind, Dr. John Jumper, budget the Nobel Prize 2024 in the chemistry for their work in developing Alphafold, which is an Amnesty International system predicted by the 3D Temple of Acid Series Amine. David Baker also participated in his work in arithmetic protein design.
Before Alphafold, the prediction of the protein structure was a complex process and a long time.
The alphafold predictions, which have become freely available through the alphafold database, were granted more than two million scientists and researchers from 190 countries a powerful tool to create new discoveries. Alphafold 2, published in 2021, remains one of the most popular publications in all times.
Alphafold’s contributions were widely praised, among her confessions are Albert Lasker Basical Award, 2023 Award for Life Sciences, and 2024 Cayio Medical Science Award.
Artificial intelligence (AI) has long demonstrated amazing potential to use in scientific research, and alphafold was a concept. Since more scientists adopt artificial intelligence to use in everything from construction data, to simulating experiments, design medications, complicating modeling, discovering new solutions to existing problems, and building on current knowledge, we will continue to see foundational scientific breakthroughs in the coming years.
In a statement issued after he learned of the news, Dimis Hasabis said:
“Getting the Nobel Prize is an honor for life. Thank you for the Swedish Royal Academy of Sciences, to John Gomber and Alphafold, the larger teams and teams in Google, and to all my colleagues in the past and the present that made this moment possible. Make cash, from the enzyme design to the discovery of drugs.
After receiving the news that he won the Nobel Prize, John Gomber released the following statement:
“Thank you for the Swedish Royal Academy of Science for this exceptional honor. We are honored to be recognized to provide the long promise of arithmetic biology to help us understand the protein world and inform the amazing work of experimental biologists. It is the main appearance that this is a distribution to the amazing prize.
Accounty biology has long retained huge promises to create practical visions that can be used in the real world experiences. The bishops are delivered to this promise. In front of us, there is a world of new ideas and scientific discoveries that have become possible by using artificial intelligence as a scientific tool. Thank you for my colleagues over the years, for making this moment of confession possible, as well as the many moments of discovery awaiting us. “
