Democrats and Republicans clash over masked immigration enforcement

Sens presented. Republicans at Capitol Hill rejected the Democrats law, and they told Fox News that immigration agents should be allowed to wear masks to hide their identities and protect their personal safety.

“I think they should be allowed to wear masks, because not only the ice agents have been threatened, but their families and children are threatened. When you have these types of threats for your family, just because you do your work and implement the law, you should be able to protect your identity.

Immigration and customs officers (ICE), customs and border protection (CBP) usually wear facial covers during illegal immigration raids and arrests to protect their identity.

Badilla, who was backed by the hands of the conference of the Minister of Internal Security Christie Naim last month, and the Booker Law, a fixed critic of Trump, suggested to the visual identity standards of the Immigration (visible) law enforcement law 2025.

But Democrats have a different take.

“This is what you see in a fascist state,” said senator Jeff Merkeley, d. “We are not a fascist state. We are” people “and we need to make sure that people are responsible.

“They must be clearly identified. What are their agents? Who are they?” Said Senator Mark Kelly, De Areez.

The Boker and Padilla invoice will also require all federal agents to display their agency or first letters clearly and the name of their badges.

“There are no masks and a clear identification of the ice factor that enhances safety,” added Senator Tim Kane, D-FA.

Senator Mazi Herono, De Hawaii, agreed. “The enforcement of the law must identify themselves,” she said.

Trump has formed the new legislation this week, as Fox News Peter Dossusi told Booker and Ballalla not to propose this draft law “if they do not hate our country.”

He continued, “These officers are doing an enormous job.” “They are wonderful patriots.”

But Booker shot X and writing, “We love America, and we love to maintain the safety of Americans. This is why we have provided the visual action that requires ICE customers to wear unlawful badges and make their duties not dismantled. It is the fact that policies that focus on transparency and accountability are effective in making societies, law enforcement sitting all over.”
