Democrats hit historic low favorability ratings as party seeks path forward

More than six months after the Democratic Party was subjected to great setbacks in the 2024 elections, the party is looking for a way to escape the political wilderness.
Part of this effort includes a modern gathering by senior party advisers and donors trying to know how Democrats can improve communication with male and working voters.
President Donald Trump won the White House while Republicans fluctuated the Senate and defended the majority of their fragile house in November, and the Republican Party achieved gains between black and Latin voters, as well as young voters – all traditional members at the Democratic Party base.
“All we have done to this point has led to the re -election of Donald Trump,” Democrats and Democratic Communication expert Joe Kaizo told Fox News Digital.

“If anyone tells you that we do not have to correct the course, they do not know what they are talking about,” added Kayzo, one of the old warriors in the 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns.
In the face of Trump’s arrogant and controversial movements since his return to the White House in January, the increasingly vibrant and vital democratic base is pushing party leaders to take a stronger position in leading the president’s resistance and Republicans.
The anger does not seem to direct Trump and the Republicans, but also to his Democratic colleagues, as a factor in the party’s voting problems, as the favorable classifications of the Democratic Party sank to its lowest historical levels.

The Chairman of the National Democratic Committee (DNC) Ken Martin, the party pledges to compete in all fifty states to move forward.
In an interview earlier this month on “Fox News Sunday”, Martin highlighted that the party’s focus at the present time is “to make sure that we are defending the hard -working Americans who are behind this economy Trump.”
Elections are currently in the 2024 elections, where the results are expected to be released later this year. However, the seizure of the lights in recent days was a gathering hosted by the future Super Pac striker, which Democrats allied in a luxury resort along the California coast.
Among the strategic discussions in the assembly, there was an effort worth $ 20 million entitled “Talking with American Men: a strategic plan.”
The recommendations of this effort, which is called SAM, included that the Democrats fall as described as a “moral tone” towards male voters, changing the party’s language used towards men and buying more advertisements on video games as part of male awareness.
Some former employees of former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris, who replaced Biden as a party candidate last summer, strongly criticized this effort, which was reported by the New York Times for the first time and later confirmed by Fox News.
“Instead of studying voters and men from the working class, why does the donor separation of the Democratic Party not come out and meet each other? What is the right of hell?” James Singer, a spokesman for the 2024 campaign, wrote in a social media post. “As a democracy, it is embarrassing.”
It was a similar message from Ammar Moussa, a strategic expert and the last veteran democratic communication in the Biden and Harris campaigns.
“This is embarrassing. Really,” Moussa wrote on X.
Democrats have long faced a problem in attracting male voters in the presidential elections. Trump won 12 points against Harris in the 2024 presidential elections, and according to the analysis of Fox News for voters, this margin rose to 15 points between men 45 and above.
Quickly until this spring, the underwater Democrats stood in the latest Fox News’s national poll by 41 % and 56 % unsuccessful in a survey conducted from April 18 to 21.
This is the lowest level ever for Democrats in the Fox News survey, and for the first time in a decade, the party’s place was less than The Republican Party, Which reached 44 % favorable and 54 % is favorable.
The numbers were reversed last summer, when Fox News last asked the party’s preference for a survey.

The Fox News poll was far from external.
The favorable classifications of the Democratic Party in negative lands were in a national survey of Pew Research – 38 % favorable, 60 % unsuccessful – conducted in early April and 36 % favorable, 60 % unsuccessful in the Wall Street Journal in this field two weeks ago.
In addition, the national opinion polls conducted in February by the University of Koinibiac and March by CNN and NBC News also indicated the favorable classifications of the Democratic Party, which has ever drowned its lowest levels.

“If the Democrats want to be able to compete in this country and build a permanent majority in both rooms and be able to compete in the White House, we must expand the tent.”
He expressed his regret that the Democrats “have become” excessively focused on a certain group of issues that only speak to a certain group of people, while leaving the most important issues per day falling on the side of the road. Every day, Democrats should focus on how to make things better for workers. The way we call this message should meet people where they are. “
