DHS says immigration enforcement is not happening at elementary schools
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Internal Security (DHS) prompted the allegations that the American Ice (ICE) migration agents (ICE) remove children from school.
In a press release “100 days of fake news” from the Ministry of National Security, the agency responded to many accounts that have been reported by various media out since president Donald Trump – one of them was that ice agents are entering primary schools to conduct immigration.
DHS said: “Internal security investigations at ICE (HSI) are uncompromising to protect Americans, especially children, who are at risk of illegal foreign activity,” DHS said. “This includes investigations into sexual trafficking for children.”
Treating accidents in three primary schools specifically, the Ministry of National Security explained that ICE agents were on the campus for reasons that are not related to “implementation”.

The Ministry of Internal Security said that Ice and HSI agents, which were seen in primary schools, were not present to conduct the immigration application, but to investigate the welfare of some children. (Enforcement of migration and customs)
Local news in Washington, DC, reported at the end of March that HSI agents were seen on the HD Cooke Primary School, which raised concerns about their existence.
Although the Ministry of National Security did not share what the agents are doing, the agency said: “ICE has not carried out any enforcement procedure in the school. HSI agents were present at the school who had nothing to do with any kind of executive procedures.”

There were also reports in early April from HSI customers at Russell Elementary School and Lillian Elementary School in Los Angeles.
DHS said that the agents were “conducting clear checks on the children who arrived without distance on the border” and that the visits “have nothing to do with enforcement of immigration.”
Internal security said that she “is making efforts to conduct social welfare examinations” for children who are not accompanied by their families, “ensuring that they are safe and not exploited, abuse and smuggled.”
