Questions linger over the effectiveness of US bunker buster strikes on Iran

While president Donald Trump stressed that the weekend of the army’s weekend against Iran is “completely blurring” its capabilities in making nuclear weapons, there are still questions about whether the “hidden” bombs that calm down by developing a nuclear bomb.

A report released last week by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) explains that the “Bunker Buster” bombs used by the United States used in Iran during the weekend that everyone talks about, known as GBU-57, may not be able to penetrate the massive munitions, or MPS, to completely destroy the Iranian nuclear facility. Fordo, which Trump said he “gone” after the strike, is essential to Iranian nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, an expert in the satellite images was transferred to Reuters that the confirmation of the underground destruction cannot be determined through the images alone, because hundreds of centrifugations in the facility are deeply buried in order to make a precise decision.

“In fact, I have a little most amazing opinion about things,” Andrea Strechrchr, Deputy Director of the Defense of Democrats, told Fox News Digital. “I think it is due to the tremendous damage and the shock wave that could have been sent by 12 huge penetrations on the Fordow site, it is possible that the centrifugal devices are damaged or unimportant to work.”

Stirker pointed out that the centrifugal devices are “very sensitive” and that the type of shock wave coming from the scanners at least puts it “outside the commission.” She also said if any of the centrifuges survived the explosions, it is possible that it can be accessed by the Iranian authorities for several months.

“The underground facilities are a difficult goal, not only to destroy, but also in terms of assessing the follow -up of the follow -up battle,” added Wes Rumbo, a CSIS missile colleague, said: “Underground facilities are a difficult target, not only to destroy, but also in terms of assessing the follow -up of the follow -up battle,” added CSIS’s missile defense project. “The United States and Israel are likely to need to invest additional intelligence resources to determine the true extent of damage caused by American strikes and their long -term impact on Iranian nuclear infrastructure.”

In addition to the Fordow, the United States used MPS in an Iranian enrichment facility called Natanz, where, according to Stricker, there are at least 1,000 centrifugal devices, as well as a factory on the ground and other laboratories capable of making euritis metals.

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the above laboratories were damaged by the Israeli air strikes, which led to the destruction of the factory’s electrical infrastructure. Meanwhile, satellite images appear after the United States decided to drop two scanners in Natanz, where it is said that underground enrichment facilities at the site exist. However, it is still unclear whether the American attacks were completely destroyed by the underground nuclear infrastructure.

In both cases, the attacker noted that the major damage to the Natanz facility in Iran would create the “bottleneck” in the country’s supply chain for uranium at the arms level, which will significantly affect Iran’s nuclear weapons management departments.

The third site targeted by the United States air strikes was Iran’s Iranian attachment, Esnvahan Al -Nawawi, but no scanners were used on this site. Instead, the United States used Tomahawk Cruise missiles, which confirmed the International Atomic Energy Agency caused severe damage. It is said that satellite images show that two conversion facilities above the ground have been removed, but it is still unclear how damaged the site underground partitions.

One of the biggest distinguished questions related to the success of the strike in the United States at the end of the week on Iranian nuclear installations is whether the country’s authorities are able to transfer their nuclear materials from the targeted sites before the United States launched its missiles. However, according to CSIS’s Bumbau, even if this is the case and Iran transmitting its nuclear materials, chaos will remain difficult for Iran to “the enemy to a nuclear weapon.”

“The having to transfer these assets to new facilities is likely to land Iran’s ability to the enemy to a nuclear weapon, but it makes it possible that Iran will make the extreme to hide its new position,” Bombo said. “The movement of infrastructure or nuclear materials would make the follow -up strikes difficult if intelligence cannot find all new hidden facilities.”

“There is a lot of concern now about whether Iran can walk in a bomb,” Stated added. “Israel has caused many damages to its ability to make nuclear weapons [and] Supply chain weapons. So the facilities, the components that [Iran] I think the equipment, then up to 14 nuclear worlds, if they want to build a bomb quickly, they really suffer from contentment – they do not have access to all of this, all of those assets they will need. Thus, I think in the short term to the average, we do not need to worry excessively from reaching there. “

Fox News Digital communicated with both Pentagon and Air Force to raise more details about the success of the weekend strike on Iran, but no new information has been obtained.

An Air Force spokesman for Fox News Digitter confirmed that, in total, US forces deployed 75 “accurate weapons” targeting Iran during the weekend, including 14,000 GBU-57 Polita penetration of huge munitions.

On Monday, Rafael Grossi, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, appealed to immediate access to Iranian nuclear sites to assess the damage that is likely to be “important”, according to the United Nations.
