Did Kanye West reference killing Pete Davidson in his music video? Kim Kardashian opens up about the controversial incident
Kim Kardashian recently spoke out about Kanye West’s alleged threats against Pete Davidson in 2022. She said it wasn’t fair to her then-boyfriend, and she felt sorry for him.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, now known as Ye, were married from 2014 to 2022, and have four children together. Kim dated Pete Davidson from 2021 to 2022. On January 15, 2022, Yee released a song titled Easy With the game, referring to Davidson.
Speaking about his car accident in 2002, Yee Easy:
“God saved me from this accident / Just so I could get over Pete Davidson.”
The song’s music video also depicted Davidson beheaded and bludgeoned at one point.
Meanwhile, in an episode of Call her father The podcast, which was released on October 15, Kim was asked about dealing with Yee, and she replied:
“It was a little frustrating but then I realized my character wouldn’t care about that, you know?”
When asked about the aforementioned incident regarding Pete Davidson and Yee, she said:
“It made me feel really sad. It wasn’t really fair.” [Davidson]. I felt very sad and sorry for him, and he was a great man [who] He was like, “I got this, don’t worry, it’s okay.” Or at least I acted that way. “It’s ridiculous to be put in this position.”
She added, “He made me put this guard up where I didn’t want to put anyone in that position. So it would be easier for me to stay away. But I can’t live my life that way either.”
In March 2022, Kanye West responded to the controversy, writing in an Instagram post that it was merely art that was “protected as free speech” (via Complex).

Kim Kardashian is opening up about raising her and Kanye West’s children
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have four children together: North West, Saint West, Chicago West, and Psalm West. And in her interview on Call her father podcast, Kim also spoke about raising their children and their relationship with their father.
“It’s not easy, but I mean, I’m raising kids full time. They live with me, and I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their father. I think he knows that. I push for it all the time. But I also protect them when the time comes for it, and it comes in waves and phases, and it takes a lot of work,” Kardashian said.
“But as I said before, I have the best memories and the best relationship with my father [the late Robert Kardashian]. I would even love to see Tristan [Thompson] puts [his and Khloé’s] He sleeps the kids every night and takes them to school every day when he’s not in season. “So I welcome healthy relationships, but it’s not easy,” she added.
The podcast host also asked Kim Kardashian when the kids last saw Kanye West, and she said it was two months ago. She added that the rapper’s travel and lifestyle also play a role in scheduling these meetings.
