Disgraced ex-Congressman Weiner receives donation from unexpected New Yorker

First on the fox: Former Democratic Deputy Anthony Winner received amazing donations for his campaign for the New York City Council from his ex -wife, Hema Abdin and her sister, Hayba Abdeen, despite his ex -wife in 2021 that Winner’s nationality scandals “killed her almost.”

Hema Abdeen donated $ 175 for Winner’s campaign on March 13, and her sister, Hympa Abidin, donated a $ 150 on December 29, 2024, and Fox News’s digital review of the New York City campaign financing reports revealed.

Winner launched his last campaign to the New York City City Council, the position he occupied from 1992 to 1998 before the controversy came out of his political career, in December 2024. Winner was elected to represent the ninth in New York in 1998 and resigned in 2011 after publishing a picture of himself in his underwear on social media.

The accident was followed by years of sexual scandals, and Winner was accused of transferring obscene materials to a minor in May 2017 after transferring text messages to a 15 -year -old girl. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison.

“I can’t live in this space anymore. I tried it. I killed me almost,” Abdin Noura Odonel told.

Abdin said that she had applied for divorce on the same day that Winner admitted that he was guilty and sentenced to prison. The former couple, who participated in their parents, was seen in 2023 while attending the Inner Circle Charity exhibition at the Ziegfeld theater in the center of Manhattan.

By July 2024, Abdin announced on social media that she participated in Alex Soros, head of open community institutions and billionaire Migadonor George Soros. They are expected to marry this summer.

After resignation from Congress in 2011, Winner continued text messages under the nickname “Carlos Danger”. The main recipient, Sydney Lythars, who was 22 years old, claimed that the former legislator referred to himself as a “dialectical, middle -aged man.”

Winner tried his first political return in 2013 with a tour of a mayor, but his reputation was affected by the new disclosure of the explicit photos that Winner sent under a pseudonym. Winner was arrested in the scandal of other text messages in 2016, which led to his indictment. In one picture, Winner sent, he was lying on the bed with his young son.

More allegations appeared in that year that Winner has recruited a 15 -year -old girl in North Carolina, and his laptop was seized. Investigators found email messages related to the Clangeon classified documents scandal that took control of the 2016 elections.

Winner later examined himself in rehabilitation of sex addiction. In 2017, the federal indictment was destroyed by another of the mayors. He was released in 2019 and ordered to register as a perpetrator of sexual crimes.
