DOGE says another $1M saved by converting decades-old technology at GSA

The Ministry of Governmental efficiency (DOGE) said on Friday that the US Public Services Department has provided one million dollars by transferring information storage technology for decades.
In a post on X, Dog said that the agency, which provides office spaces, transportation and other basic services for federal agencies, provided money by converting 14,000 magnetic tapes into permanent modern digital records.
This step is part of the MULON MUSK group mission to get rid of the wasteful government spending.
Musk has not yet left, the work is concluded at the time specified once.

Earlier this week, the group said Old Warrior Affairs Department (VA) paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per month for site changes before canceling the contract and assuming an internal employee.
While combing loads and a lot of data, Dog discovered a former contract by the Ministry of Old Warriors Affairs to maintain its website.

“Good work by DeptVetaffairs,” Dog said at X. “The Ministry of Old Warriors Affairs had previously paid approximately 380,000 dollars a month for secondary web amendments. This contract was not renewed, and the same work is now being carried out by one internal software engineer who spends about 10 hours/week.”
Gas said on Thursday that it will save $ 4.5 million by “improving rental contracts and reducing our silence” with a less unused office space.
