Donald Trump escalated his campaign against Harvard University on Monday, and threatened to withdraw $ 3 billion from grants and criticism in some of its foreign students as “crazy, extremists”.

Trump said he would consider removing funds from Harvard University and granting it to commercial schools in the United States. “What a wonderful investment will be for the United States of America, and he needs it strongly !!” He wrote on the social truth platform.

In a separate publication, he renewed international students at the university, saying that he was waiting for Harvard to provide “foreign students’ lists” so that the United States government could determine “the number of extremist crazy people and all harassment, should not be allowed to enter our country.”

The comments have intensified Trump’s attacks on Harvard University since it opened as an American president in January, including freezing more than $ 2.2 billion in federal financing for the university.

Trump also threatened to cancel Harvard’s tax exemption status and called for an investigation of foreign gifts and donations. In April, his administration called for a narrow supervision of Harvard’s governance, including faculty appointments. The university filed a lawsuit in response.

Ivy League has become the axis of Trump’s attacks on higher education institutions in the United States and has taken concerns about the freedom of expression campaign. The administration also opened investigations in more than 60 universities due to the alleged failures to address anti -Semitism.

These moves have reduced costs throughout the sector, as universities interact with the United States government with billions of dollars in health grants, energy and federal sciences. Republicans in congress have also moved to increase taxes on the richest universities.

The US President’s attack on Monday came days after a Boston judge was temporarily banned from the Trump administration from trying to prevent Harvard from registering international students.

Harvard University submitted a proposal against the United States government and published on X: “Without its international students, not Harvard Harvard.”

Alan Garper, President of the University, who described his right to host “illegal, unjustified” and “destroyed” and “destroyed”, stressed that “Harvard responded to the administration’s requests as required by law.”

The confrontation between the Trump administration and universities increased concern throughout American colleges about the durability of research activities, as well as their ability to attract international students-an important source of talent and official fees.

Many academics in the United States explore immigration to universities in Canada, Europe and Asia.

The administration arrested and detained international students, and last month it canceled thousands of their visas, before they temporarily returned them.
