New book reveals Biden team pushed for early Trump debate strategy

According to senior advisers, then Joe Biden, to a debate against President Donald Trump as soon as possible in an attempt to highlight the leadership of Biden and Trump’s “weakness”, according to a new book.

The book, “2024: How Trump regained the White House and the Democrats lost America”, is scheduled to be released on Tuesday and claims that the Biden team rejected their concerns about its age during the 2024 election session.

Josh Dossi from the Wall Street Journal, Tyler Bayer of the New York Times and Isaac Ernsorf from the Washington Post, says Biden’s senior advisers wrote a memorandum that defends a preliminary discussion in the spring, followed by a possible second in early September after the day of working.

This strategy will allow Biden to provide Trump before the early vote began in the battlefield, and to put the most useful discussion conditions for Biden and highlight the “leadership” of Biden unlike Trump, according to a memo on this topic.

“Through the first discussion in the spring, you will be able to reach the widest possible audience, before we are deep in the summer months with agreements, Olympics and family vacations of precedence,” he wrote to Biden’s senior advisers. “In addition, whenever you manage earlier to discuss the best that the American people can see, standing beside Trump and showing the strength of your leadership, compared to Trump’s weakness and chaos.”

However, the book states that some of Biden’s aides were hesitant about an early debate, and some are even defending Biden Trump’s lack of discussion at all. Specifically, the book cited Biden donors who pressed the White House in May 2024 to find a reason to withdraw Biden from discussions, after he informed the donor about “discomfort” of Biden’s behavior in collecting donations in Chicago.

Meanwhile, the White House Trump said that the discussion had been inversely threw up on Biden, and instead, he shed light on the weaknesses of Biden.

“The most prominent in the discussion is the inability of Joe Biden (to) in the form of a complete sentence,” White House spokesman Taylor Rogers said in a statement on Monday. “American voters have given a direct look at Biden’s weakness, his pregnancy in chaos, and what appears to be when the true leader of the White House loses.”

“Unfortunately for the Democrats, no advisor or so -called” strategy “can save their candidates inactive and terrible policies of President Trump’s historic victory,” said Rogers.

A spokesman for Biden did not immediately respond to the request to comment from Fox News Digital.

“2024” is one of the many books that were released in 2025 that separate Biden’s mental deterioration while she was in office and how Trump won the elections. Another example is the book “OrGinal Sin: Pressident Biden’s Denline, and its catastrophic option to run again”, which was released on May 20.
