Elon Musk announces formation of ‘America Party’ after President Trump signs bill

Elon Musk says the two -party regime is broken, and it has just launched a new political party to prove this.

On Saturday, Musk announced on X, the social media platform it owns, the formation of the “America Party”, describing it in a direct response to what it described as a corrupt political institution that no longer represents the American people.

This announcement came after a July 4 virus survey in X, where he asked Musk if the voters wanted independence from what he called “the two parties system (some may say.”

Some on the right expressed concern in the comments section that a third party can divide conservative vote and help Democrats win more easily.

Conservative commentator Sean Farash published: “Your third party will get an inconsistent vote from the right against the left and give the left an easier way to power.”

Others, like Joy Manarino, urged Musk to focus instead on reforming the Republican Party from within.

Critics also indicated that the X poll was unofficial, not limited to American voters and weak robots.

Third parties usually faced a difficult time in obtaining a ground in American policy, as the system was built for two dominant parties. With the electoral college, the winning elections, and strict access laws to reach voting, foreigners cannot compete useful. Even when a third party candidate starts, it rarely continues after one electoral cycle.

One of the largest efforts of the third party in modern history was Ross Beirut in 1992.

He got nearly 19 % of popular votes as an independent voice, but he did not win a single college vote. This was the closest to a third -party candidate to the White House after he participated in the famous party of President Teddy Roosevelt in 1912 against William Howard Tatat.

Others, like Ralph Nader, tried with the Green Party, and Gary Johnson with the liberation party, but no third -party candidate approached to win the presidency.
