Representative Margori Taylor Green, RR, urges that President Donald Trump transfer the former judgment to Representative George Santos for a period of seven years, describing the punishment as “serious injustice” and “bypassing offensive by the judicial system.”

A former New York congress member was sentenced to 87 months in prison, or a little more than seven years, after admitting guilty in 2024 to take fraud and stealing the intense identity. Santos told imprisonment on July 25 to start spending his sentence.

Santos was evaluated by the maximum sentence in April by the American boycott judge, Joanna Sepert. He was also ordered to pay nearly $ 374,000 as compensation and lost more than $ 205,000 of fraud revenue.

Follow Santos’s approval of guilt, investigating the fraud in financing campaigns, stealing donor identity, and wrong unemployment demands in the Kofid era.

On Monday, Green said in a post on X that she had sent a message to the amnesty lawyer office urging Trump to transmit Santos penalty.

She wrote in The Post: “The 7 -year prison sentence on charges of campaigns is excessive, especially when members of Congress who have worse are still walking for free.” “George Santos has assumed responsibility. It has shown remorse. It is time to correct this injustice. We must ask equal justice under the law!”

Green addressed her message to UNRALLAM Edward R. Martin Junior, a lawyer for the US Department of Justice (Doj), has admitted the attractiveness of the actions of her former colleague.

“As a member of Congress, I worked with Mr. Santos on many issues and I can witness his willingness and dedication to the service of the New York people who elected him to his position,” she wrote. “He regretted sincerely and before fully responsible for his actions. Moreover, my office spoke with a sponsor of those who discussed regret and regretted Mr. Santos, and agreed that the sentence imposed is dangerous injustice.

“While his crimes call for punishment, many of my colleagues who served them have committed crimes more worse than Mr. Santos, but they faced zero criminal charges,” Green continued. “I believe in a firm belief in accountability about the actions of the individual, but I believe that the ruling on Mr. Santos is bypassing offensive by the judicial system.”

Prosecutors representatives on how Santos and his campaign secretary, Nancy Marx, participated in the reports of donors to qualify for the financing of the National Republican Party. They manufactured contributions from the Santos family and informed a $ 500,000 loan from Santos, although he had less than $ 8,000 in his accounts.

He also stole the credit card information from the donors, including “the victims who knew that they were the elderly who suffer from cognitive weakness or decline” and took unauthorized fees to finance personal expenditures and personal expenses, according to the Ministry of Justice. Santos also used a fake political donation company to request tens of thousands of dollars, which he spent on “designed clothes”.

During the epidemic, Santos got more than $ 24,000 in unemployment advantages while employing an investment company. He also provided false financial disclosures to Congress to the House of Representatives.

Santos was elected in 2022 after turning the third area in New York to the Republican Party. His CV was easily exposed. He falsely claimed academic grades, Wall Street functions and family relations with the Holocaust and 9/11.

He was expelled from Congress in December 2023 after a fragile ethics report, to become only the sixth member of the people’s home.

Santos remained active publicly after the judgment was issued, selling video messages on Cameo and making social media posts.

Unless the amnesty is expected that Santos will remain imprisoned until at least early 2032.

Green and the White House immediately did not respond to the Fox News Digital request for comment.
