Elon Musk, Mike Johnson clash again over Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’

“We have no time for a new law,” Johnson said when he asked Fox News.

“I want Elon and all my friends to complicate what we have accomplished here. This extraordinary part of the legislation – the number of registration of savings, and standard tax discounts for the American people and all other benefits in it,” the spokesman told reporters.

“We have worked on the bill for nearly 14 months. You cannot return to the drawing board, and we shouldn’t. We have a great product to present here.”

Johnson warned critics of the bill not to leave perfection is the enemy of goodness.

Johnson said: “We are proud of this product. Republicans in the House of Representatives are proud of it, and we are happy to go out and explain it to everyone.”

Republican Louisiana said during a former press conference that he was “surprised” to criticize Musk.

The spokesman also indicated that the Republicans are planning to write down the spending discounts set by the Ministry of Governmental efficiency in Musk (DOGE) in a vehicle different from the reconciliation process.

Musk was flowing heavily on the legislation, as Republican legislators put in a difficult place after months of praising his work with Dog.

The huge bill, which was currently established by the Senate, is currently the priorities of Trump in taxes, immigration, energy and defense unit debt.

The House of Representatives has gone through 215 – 214 with all Republicans in the House of Representatives, with the exception of three who do not vote “yes”.

The leaders of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives, referring to their high margins, urged the Senate to change as minimal as possible in the bill. But the Republican Party of the Senate has its high majority, and legislators have already indicated that they want to see some changes at least.

Meanwhile, the White House stood beside the bill.

“The president already knows where Elon Musk stood on this law. He does not change the opinion of the president. This is a big and beautiful bill, and he adheres to it,” said press secretary Caroline Levitte on Tuesday.
