Elon Musk hinted that Tesla may unveil a flying car, and soon.
Musk appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience” on Friday in a wide-ranging interview that touched on a variety of topics, including the development of the Tesla Roadster.
“We’re getting close to showing the prototype,” Musk told Rogan. “And I think this will be… the only thing I can guarantee is that this product demo will be unforgettable.”

“Whether it’s good or bad, it’s going to be unforgettable,” Musk said. “My friend Peter Thiel, you know, once thought that the future was supposed to have flying cars, but we don’t have flying cars.”
Rogan asked for details about the technology, such as whether the car will have a “retractable wing,” but Musk just said the product reveal “has a chance to be the most unique product ever unveiled.”
Musk said it was “hopeful” that the car would be unveiled “within a couple of months.”
