Epic Universe, Florida’s newest major theme park in nearly three decades, is finally open—and Comcast executives are already thinking about expansion

Thursday represents the launch of the first new entertainment park in central Florida in nearly 30 years – a major problem for NBCuniversal, Florida State, and park lovers across the country.
Epic Universe is now the largest company’s entertainment garden real estate, extending over an area of 750 acres (although only 110 acres are used so far). The park is characterized by five worlds of a nature under the title: the world of magicians for Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Nintendo, and how to train your drank – Burke Island, the Heavenly Park, and the Dark Universe.
It has been designed to attract the teenage/youthful crowd, whose childhood was built on characters like HICUP, hero How to train your drag The concession, Nintendo games, Harry Potter, instead of Boh and Mickey Mouse. It is heavy with intense swirls and dark horse riding (attractions where cyclists sit in vehicles directed).
Tickets are already sold quickly, and the epic universe is expected to be a great destination for tourists this year. COMCAST executives, the parent company of Universal, says they are not planning to slow up the focus on recreational gardens – especially with people’s attention to screens, whether TV or the movie, is difficult to capture.
“The question has always been how this affects different parts of the media,” says Mark Kavanag, president of Comics. “While I think we are doing a great job in moving on it … I think one of the great things in experimenting works is that there is no alternative to his presence here. You are putting your phones at the bottom, you are indamel and you are facing all this.”
Epic Universe is the latest recreational garden for COMCAST, but other experiences are just around the corner. Later this year, the nights of terror will open throughout the year in Las Vegas, with the expectation of the announcement of other sites. Next year, the company will open the Universal Kids Park in Bresco, Texas. In 2031, the company will open an entertainment park in the United Kingdom.
Although Epic Universe is new like a garden, Mark Woodbabiri, Chairman and CEO of Universal Destinations & Exercations, says his team is already considering what the next there.
“This is the first step in an epic future.” “There is a big room for expansion. We are already thinking about how to run it … new attractions [are] at. New intellectual characteristics [are] at. [It’s] Each part of our philosophy to develop our business by expanding our current range. “
Epic Universe is not just a possible large money maker for Comicast. It can mean the great surprise of Florida as well. The park is expected to generate two billion dollars in the state in its first year and create more than 17,500 jobs in the first year, according to the accounts by Dr. Sean Seneith, director of the Institute of Economic Prediction at Central Florida University.
SNAITH has also estimated that Universal Orlando Parks has caused an economic impact of $ 44 billion since 2019 – The company’s investment in building an epic universe has been an economic impact of $ 11 billion in the country.
But the risks are the highest, of course, for the world. Last year, more than 75 million people came to Orlando, and the vast majority of them were there for its entertainment gardens. Disney prepares more visitors, but the epic universe can narrow the gap. Officials say the hope between this and other company parks, visitors will choose much longer stay for all of them.
“If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you need to see all three parks. This really speaks to one week’s holiday,” says Woodberry.
