After years of Republicans who are leading government transparency on Jeffrey Epstein, the well -associated sexual crimes who died in prison in 2019, Democrats now lead the charge to issue the so -called “Epstein files”.
“I am happy that they join the party, but they should have been more transparent a year ago,” Representative Mark Mark, R-IND told Fox News Digital.
After seizing the Republicans’ request for transparency about Epstein during the administration of former President Joe Biden, President Donald Trump made a campaign in 2024 to issue “Epstein’s files” and the alleged “list of customers”.
However, the Ministry of Justice in Trump and FBI issued a memorandum this week and concluded that Epstein died of suicide in his cell, and there is no “customer list”, and that the supposed “Epstein” files are thousands of sexual assault materials on children and other pornographic materials subject to the seal that the court demanded.

Democrats were quick to seize the internal conflict.
“It is very rich on their part,” Representative David Costov, R-Tenn, told Fox News Digital. “But again, if there is no new information, this is a good thing. Just ask the Ministry of Justice to go out and explain it and answer the questions. And if there is something, it is not related, well, explain that too.”
