Several European Union governments have indicated that they want a rapid agreement with the United States to abandon the threat of Donald Trump by 50 percent of the definitions of the bloc, and urged the European Commission to continue to speak to Washington instead of taking the path of confrontation.

Italian officials said that Italian Prime Minister Georgia Miloni had an emergency call with Trump hours after the US President handed over his threat on Friday.

They added that Meloni later spoke to the committee chairman Ursula von der Lin, invited her to resolve the differences with Trump through negotiations.

The Brussels Authority added that the Italian leader was one of many European Union leaders who spoke to the head of the committee at the weekend.

Von der Lyen then persuaded the US President to delay the increasing fees for more than a month to July 9 in a phone call on Sunday.

France, Spain, Ireland and Belgium also welcomed an attempt to accelerate the talks and avoid the escalation of the Atlantic trade war.

“The conversations will start quickly,” Trump said in a post on his social network for the truth. He added that his “privilege” was delaying the increasing definitions from the previous date on June 1.

Meloni, who established a relationship with Trump and the Phoengers of Deir Layen and tried to work as a bridge between Washington and Brussels, has suggested a summit between the leaders of the major European Union economies and senior committee officials and the US president next month to defuse the tensions.

Trump is scheduled to visit the Netherlands from NATO from 24 to 25 June, a journey that can provide an opportunity for other faces to face.

In Monday’s comments, French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed a “good exchange” between Trump and the head of the committee. He told reporters on a visit to Vietnam.

Jose Manuel Albarris, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, added that the phone call means that the talks were going in the “right direction”, while his Irish counterpart Simon Harris, whose pharmaceutical industry in his country was subjected to the new new tariff for the United States, called for “job protection and investment.”

Belgium, whose small economy is relatively dependent on exports, welcomed the “construction” approach to Der Lynn.

Von der Layen Paulaho spokeswoman said that the committee chairman and Trump agreed to “a rapid occurrence”, with a second invitation in four days between their main negotiators on Monday.

European Union Trade Commissioner Marus šefčovič said he also made “good calls” with US Trade Minister Howard Lottenic and Trade Representative Jameson Jarir. He wrote about the commission, “Complexed with constructive and concentrated efforts as a speed” towards a deal, and wrote on X.

While the Commercial policy Committee runs, Benho said that von der Lin was in a “regular contact” with the leaders of the European Union to request their opinions. The chairman of the committee did not refer to the defense of the European Union interests, a line used by šefčovič after he spoke to their American counterparts.

Member States have agreed to a package of 21 billion euros by up to 50 percent on American goods such as corn, wheat, motorcycles and clothes, which will start on July 14 without a deal. The committee also consults the member states on a list of 95 billion euros of other targets, including Boeing aircraft, cars and borbon whiskey.

When Trump committed a 50 percent threat of customs tariffs on the imports of the European Union on Friday, he said that the bloc did not make sufficient progress to respond to the United States’ demands to reduce trade surplus.

Originally 20 percent announced the imports of the European Union on April 2, the self -designed “liberation day”, but it took them to half later in the same month throughout the 90 -day negotiation period, scheduled to end on July 9.
