Marco Rubio condemns Iran’s threats against IAEA Director Rafael Mariano Grossi

Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said on Saturday that the alleged calls in Iran to arrest and implement the Director General of the International Atomic Agency (International Atomic Energy Agency) Rafael Mariano Grosso “is unacceptable and convicted.”

Rubio’s warning came after Iranian parliament Speaker Hamid Reda Haji Babai Grouosi banned his nuclear facilities, accusing Israel of obtaining “sensitive facility data”, according to a report issued by Mehr News.

“We support cash verification and monitoring efforts in Iran and we commend the general manager and Laea with their dedication and professionalism,” Rubio wrote in X. “We call on Iran to provide the safety and security of the International Atomic Energy Agency employees.”
