Exclusive: Kash Patel Director closes the J

Fox News Digital exclusively obtained a memorandum on Tuesday that was sent to the FBI to the FBI, the most noticeable employee to move, and encouraged it as “more cost -effective” to serve the American people, Fox News Digital learned.

Patel hinted, in May, that the office will re -allocate the workforce across the country, and will remove the agents from the J. Edgar Hover building, which opened in 1975.

The FBI and Public Services Administration (GSA) is looking for the options of the new FBI headquarters for more than a decade, including locations near the capital in Maryland and Virginia.

“The TEAM, the FBI team will move to the bottom of the street to the Ronald Reagan building, and the Hoover building will be closed.”

Trump Fox News Digital told the Ronald Reagan building is a “great building”, and he said that the FBI was a “wonderful group of people”.

“The FBI will finally have the type of building they deserve,” President told Fox News Digital. “Congratulations to Cash Patel and Dan Bongino and all the great people at the FBI.”

In the memo to the FBI, Patel said that the office “the first law enforcement agency in the world, and our headquarters will reflect this fact.”

“After nearly 20 years of the continuous mixture surrounding this issue, we have finally finished it,” Patel said, adding that this step “will be the most cost -effective way to better serve the American people with the use of resources available to us more efficiently.”

Patel said that this step will simultaneously get “our wonderful workforce, and the location of a modern, safe and superior headquarters allows us to build for the future and maintain the success of the mission, even though we are huge designers of taxpayers dollars.”

Patel told the FBI that he was working “closely with congress and GSA” to achieve this step “spoke quickly”, but he said that there is “a lot of moving pieces.”

“We need to ensure our safety and technology requirements before the headquarters of the headquarters can start taking this step, in stages,” Patel wrote. “Thank you for your patience, and stay in the course.”

“Please join me in celebrating this historic landmark of the Federal Investigation Office.”

Patel also thanked the FBI officials and employees of the FBI for “everything you do to the country.”

“Welcome to your new FBI and your new Federal Investigation Office,” Patel wrote.

In 2024, the Public Services Department said that it would take more than a decade to build the newly constructed FBI headquarters.

The source told Fox News Digital: “The FBI has long needed great promotions, and after decades of discussion, the president, administration and director Patel – allowing the office to serve the American people at a much lower cost of taxpayers from alternatives.”

Patel said the Hoover building “is not safe for our workforce.”

“If you will come to work in the world’s law enforcement agency in the world, we will offer you a building that fits with that, and this is not this place,” he said.
