FBI’s Patel faces criticism over early error in Charlie Kirk assassin case

The success of the FBI in the arrest of the alleged Charlie Kerk killer came after one day after director Cash Patel initially erred that the suspect was in the reservation, a step that sparked intelligence and criticism when the nation retracted Kirk’s violent death.

Rovo wrote on social media on Friday, adding that he was talking to conservative leaders who question the leadership structure at the FBI, which includes Patel, Deputy Director Dan Bongino, until next week, Andrew Billy, who takes over the role of Battle, director Dan Bongo.

The White House did not respond.
