Federal agencies ordered to delete employee COVID-19 vaccine status data

In a sweeping move aimed at declining the states of the epidemic, the Trump administration directed all federal agencies to erase any records related to the Covid-19 for employees, prior delegation requests or exemption requests.

The instructions, issued by the US Personnel Affairs Office (OPM), was in response to the last litigation and is part of a wider batch to contrary to what officials described as “harmful policies during the epidemic” imposed under the Biden Administration.

“Things have gone out of control during the epidemic, and federal workers were expelled, punished, or marginalized to make a personal medical decision,” OPM director Scott Copor said in a statement. “This should never happen. Thanks to the president [Donald] Trump’s leadership, we make sure that the excesses of that era have no ongoing effects on federal workers. “

Former President Joe Biden signed the Executive Order 14043 in September 2021, as he directed federal agencies to request Covid-19 as a condition for federal labor.

After the controversial demand, many lawsuits were filed by federal employees, unions and states that claim that the state has violated the constitutional rights and federal labor laws.

Unless the employee chooses positively within 90 days, all information related to the vaccine must be removed permanently from both the material and electronic employees files.

The agencies must ratify compliance with the memo by September 8, according to the memo.

The White House did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request for comment.
